At a strategic level, the Herts Sports Partnership aims to act as a vital sub regional coordinating body for local sport and to maintain an appropriate dialogue with government and other sponsors; fostering the development of local partnerships. Through our work we aim to: 

• Influence the policies and plans of partner agencies for the benefit of sport, sports people and physical activity.
• Provide an effective communication channel between government agencies and ‘grass roots’ sport.
• Assist the government and Sport England in the delivery of its sports strategy locally.
